DESCRIPTION
BMA carried out a series of compliance and remedial works including an emergency call-out to repair a water leak and an EICR to the site compound, followed by extensive passive fire-stopping upgrades. These works comprised fire sealing of wall penetrations with intumescent mastic, installation of pipe collars, construction of bespoke fire-rated electrical cabinets/boxing, replacement of non-compliant timber boards with 30–60 minute fire-rated panels, fitting fire dampers and fire-rated access panels, and installing galvanised cable trunking with compliant metal clips/bands. Additional items included forming fire-rated compartmentation walls in loft spaces, providing safe working platforms and renewing door architraves, all fully surveyed, recorded and left ready for decoration.
