DESCRIPTION
BMA delivered a programme of passive fire-stopping and electrical compliance works as part of wider Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) improvements. Works included intrusive surveys and the certified sealing of service penetrations using intumescent mastics, collars and fire-rated materials to reinstate compartmentation. We also constructed bespoke fire-rated electrical cabinets and access panels, replaced non-compliant timber panels with 30–60 minute boards, installed compliant galvanised trunking with metal clips/bands, and fitted fire dampers and loft compartmentation where required. Additional works included emergency call-outs, EICR testing and joinery renewals, with all activity fully recorded and delivered in line with current fire-safety regulations.
