Weston Rise – Communal Refurbishment, Fire-Safety & Fire-Stopping Works
BMA delivered planned refurbishment and compliance works to the communal areas across Weston Rise. The programme included renewing damaged quarry floor tiles and upstands, full Class-O fire-rated redecoration to lift lobbies, stairwells and bin chute areas, and the application of specialist fire-upgrade coatings to metal balustrades and handrails. We also installed and upgraded fire-stopping riser panels to reinstate compartmentation and improve building safety. Works were completed alongside the refurbishment and replacement of garage doors and associated making-good, ensuring the communal spaces remain safe, durable and fully compliant with current fire-safety standards while maintaining a high-quality finish throughout.
